Greetings to you all.
At the outset I offer my sincerest thanks and gratitude to you all for nominating me as President of ISA , Assam. I will try my best to live upto your expectation during my tenure.
First of all I would like to convey my sincerest gratitude to you all selecting me as President of ISA Assam State Branch for 2025-26 session also. I thank you for your faith on me once again and I assure you that with the help and support from all of you, I will try to do justice to the responsibilities entrusted me with and establish our state branch as a very vibrant and active one.
The successful conduct of the Nagaon Conference, with participation of record numbers of our members in scientific sessions, workshops and administrative matters has inspired as well as motivated all of us. It has been observed that several local branches performing very well by organizing CME, Seminar etc. round the year We must continue this and actively participate in all ISA activities. But there are also branches which have been remaining inactive and dormant for long time. We must reach out to them to understand and solve their problems. Our members are delivering talks and conducting workshops in conferences in the country and abroad too which is very commendable. Read more

At the very outset I would like to thank you all for choosing me as the Secretary of ISA Assam. Every successful organization, no matter its size or mission, relies on the dedication and support of its members to achieve its goals. This website was an initiative of Dr Surajit Giri long ago. It’s going to be a useful common platform for all our needs related to Anaesthesia and academics.
ISA Assam is a prestigious organisation and it brings on a common platform all the Anaesthesiologists in Assam and Northeast as a whole. With each passing year new and energetic young brains are joining us, making us bigger and bigger.
